Welcome to Things Matter CIC: Where Fashion Meets Community

At Things Matter, we believe in second chances — for clothes, materials, people, and ideas. Based in North London, we’re a Community Interest Company using waste and creativity as a tool to create real change.

Our mission? To transform the way we relate to what we wear by supporting local designers, tackling textile waste, and building community spaces where sustainability becomes a shared practice.

We host workshops that teach up-cycling, mending, and circular fashion skills. We provide free materials to emerging designers who otherwise wouldn’t have access. And we run a community showroom where fashion, art, and activism blur into one. Every stitch and scrap has a story — and we’re here to make sure none of it goes to waste.

Things Matter is more than a project. It’s a growing movement of people who care — about the planet, about each other, and about the future of fashion.
